About Me

I’m an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in Michigan. I have over 10 years of clinical experience delivering high-quality and empathetic care, including direct and indirect mental health care in inpatient and outpatient settings and health insurance. You should also know that I'm passionate about decreasing the stigmas associated with mental illness. I firmly believe that mental illness is no different from a medical condition in that many of the mental illnesses we contend with have genetic components, just like medical illnesses like high blood pressure or diabetes. Therefore, I commend anyone with the insight to recognize when it's time to take charge of their mental health.

Through education & patient collaboration, I prescribe & manage medications to help better control presenting symptoms. In some cases, I educate patients on alternatives to medicine. I can also help you connect with therapists who can teach & provide you with lifelong skills & tools to help minimize and better control your psychiatric symptoms.

I'm a realist who believes in setting clear expectations from the start. This is your mental health journey, which may not always be easy. That said, you must commit to yourself first. I won't work harder for you than you are willing to work for yourself. However, as long as you stay engaged and committed to reaching your goals, I'll continue to guide and encourage you along the way.
